How to get the perfect tan? 

We all dream with the perfect brown color when we get tan. We expect to look natural and fresh, and ask ourselves if it is possible to get a real tan. Yes! It is.  We make our best, sometimes we get the color we want and others just get red like a lobster. Latinos are people who have an incredible tan and stay with the color for long time. How do we do it?

People react differently to the sun, some of them get a sun burn very fast, others just with sunscreen get tan. All depends on your skin color and the method you use, but I will teach you how to do it and how it stays longer on your body without laying for hours in the beach bed.

For me it’s super important to take care of my skin before and after the sun, so when I’m in the hotel, apartment or whatever place I am, I always put the sunscreen on my face and a good bikini to get tan, like a strapless one, my favorite (check lamussa.ch)

Then, I always mix in a bottle: ½ sunscreen and ½ tanning oil (I recommend Nivea products)

After you made your mix, you should spread it all over your body and go out of the room. Why is it important to do it in your room? because it will stay on your skin longer and you don’t have to use it every 30 minutes. I always recommend to not lay on the beach bed, because you can have easily a sun burn…

…You will get tan very fast and you will not feel that warm if you walk over the beach, play volleyball, make any water sport. I mean find an activity that will keep you busy to have the perfect tan and having the sun in front and in the back from you. Try to not be expose more than 30 or 60 minutes, then you can move to a shade.

At the end of the day, hydrate your skin. Your body will look stunning and better so you can use Aloe gel skin lotion after sun or oil after you take a shower. Moisturize your skin with a product containing sodium PCA.

Recommendations:

  1. If you are going to the water, please be aware that your sunscreen is waterproof.
  2. Use a sunscreen with more SPF rating of 50.
  3. Re-apply sunscreen whenever you need.
  4. If you have brown skin, just use sunscreen, don’t use oil.
  5. Avoid to get a sun burn the first day of your trip, otherwise you can not get tan again.
  6. Drink water the whole day, differently you can have headache or feel dizzy.
